Club News and information is available on the website and discussed at training nights. Make sure you keep informed, as sometimes there are temporary changes to training time and venue availability.
Training uniforms can be purchased through us or one of the many martial art clothing retail companies in magazines or on the internet -however it is recommended that you train for at least one month before you decide to purchase a training uniform or equipment.
INSURANCE
All members
must hold at least basic Personal Accident Insurance. This is included in your Membership fees. All Instructors hold Personal Accident, and
Professional Indemnity Insurance and a First Aid qualification. Insurance is provided via the O.C.I and OCFM via ‘MartialGuard’.
MartialGuardis an insurance scheme designed specifically for organisations
and participants in Martial Arts, and its related activities and clubs. TL Risk Solutions have substantial experience in providing insurance solutions to meet the needs of Martial Arts instructors and
participants, and provide cover for a wide range of different requirements:

Frankly, most martial arts insurance is a token gesture towards covering accident and injury mainly because of the
nature of risk in this arena and a classification towards dangerous sports.
• If you are self-employed
or do not get paid sick leave it is recommended that you take out additional Personal Accident insurance (privately), to cover any time you
may have off work or your business due to injury.
• If you have any further questions regarding insurance you must direct these through your Club Coach..
We hope you will become as excited as we are with what we do.
Licence Fees are as advised (£15 at time of print) and are paid on an annual recurring date from joining.
In addition Facility and Mat Fees are payable pre-monthly to Peterborough Martial Arts Academy.
1-month notice would be appreciated
if you have to cease training with us for any reason.
Note: non refundable for holidays, short-term sickness or
non-attendance.
On NO account should you practice whilst under the influence of alcohol or
recreational drugs.
If you are found doing so, your membership to the club will be
revoked.
